Theft, especially so called casual theft are the most common criminal acts.
Villains often take advantage of our inattention, when we, for example, leave our wallet on the check till, leave our purse open, put our cameras under the towel on the beach while we are swimming etc.
We must never forget about self protection and take into consideration the following recommendation:
- never leave you purse or bags innatended
- don't show your money, credit cards and other valuable belongings in public
- don't leave your keys of appartments and/or vehicles in inappropriate places
- pay attention on your children, tell them what to do if they get lost in crowds (to contact policeman, security guard
- pay attention on your security, avoid dark streets, suspicious bars
- pay attention on people who folllow you after you raise oney at banks, post offices or ATM
- keep your money and documents at safe places (in your inner pocket or around your waist)
- don't leave your cameras, mobile phones, bikes, surfs etc. unattended
- in foreign places change money at banks, not on the street
- pay attention on your luggage at airports, traind and bus-statios
- be aware that too visible marked luggage sends out a sign, that your appartment is empty.
